Hello wonderful supporters!

I wanted to give you guys an update since we’re getting closer and closer to February! As most of you know by now, my yearly budget is $6000 and I need to have $3000 raised before I leave in February. I have been blown away by the generosity of my friends and family, and thank you so much to everyone who has donated already! But, we still have a ways to go! God doesn’t need millionaires to get things done, he just needs the hearts and the generosity of His people, which is why I’m starting a new goal that gets a lot of people involved in God’s work:

Long story short, let’s celebrate the end of this year right, and get 100 people to donate $20.12. Ends up with a total of $2,012. Cool right? With all the connections we have these days thanks to good ol facebook, twitter, etc, I have complete faith that we can find 100 people willing to sacrifice something for God’s kingdom.   Just in case you need some more convincing, here are some reasons to go for it:

• ·         For all you fellow college students, finals are almost over, so you’ll no longer need that massive coffee budget. Buy a few less lattes, let yourself sleep over Christmas break, and donate that money instead!

• ·         Donations are TAX DEDUCTIBLE, and it’s almost the end of the year, so get those tax deductions now!

• ·         Again, college students (seems to be my biggest audience), with any luck, we’ll be getting some ridiculously low amount of money back for our textbooks, but there’s a good chance it will be at least $20.12. Its money that just kind of comes out of nowhere, so why not donate it?

• ·         Donate to celebrate what a great year 2012 has been! For me personally, I finally reached 20, I graduated college (well, in a few days I will), and I’ve experienced God’s blessings through a lot of crazy stuff! So celebrate with me, and start off 2013 right!

• ·         Be a part of a group of people uniting for God’s work, who are saying that a little sacrifice is worth the results.

• ·         In case none of those reasons really stuck with you, here are a few more:

So let’s get 100 people to donate $20.12 before the year is over. If you want to help me out, donate then share this with people you know and get the word out. With all 100 donations, I will pretty much be at the $3000 I need before I leave!  Twenty two days to get this done!! Let’s do it!!
