It's already been three months??

Hey guys, it's so hard to believe I've already had three months in Honduras. I just want to take a quick minute to share my updated budget and remaining needs so you as my supporters can know exactly where your money is going!

Monthly Budget:

$150 - Food/rent

$45 - Anderson's education sponsorship

$40 - Food for dinner in Los Pinos with Anderson's family every Thursday

$25 - Extra occasional aid for Anderson's family**

$40 - Phone/internet

$75 - Gas (Cassie and I are the ministry's errand runners)

$75 - Miscellaneous expenses

$50 - World Outreach 10% Fee

$500/month TOTAL

**I want to make it clear that we are not making it a habit of doing "hand-outs" to the poor in Los Pinos. Currently, the family consists of four little girls (from 6 months to about 7 years), two adult women, and Herman (18) providing the only income. His jobs pay him barely enough to support himself. Every time I'm in their house, there is NO food, NO water for weeks. The situation is extreme, and I feel God is calling me to meet some physical needs as well. I don't provide all the food they need, I just provide the expensive, inaccessible, healthy items such as water, eggs, milk, beans, etc about every other week. I'm not looking to create an unhealthy dependency, but I also can't sit back and watch those girls eat and drink NOTHING.


So that's my budget! Hopefully that makes all my supporters feel a bit more comfortable now that you know exactly where your hard-earned money is being spent. Currently, I'm living off about $150 monthly sponsorship and using the many one time donations I received from you before I moved here. Thank the Lord for those donations, and they are keeping me here right now, but they are primarily helpful for short term missionaries. The only problem is...

I'm not a short term missionary.

Now I'm searching again for more monthly sponsorships. This is what I need:

1 sponsor at $100/month
3 sponsors at $50/month
3 sponsors at $25/month
1 sponsor at $15/month
1 sponsor at $10/month

That's 9 people. Using 9 people, God will provide my every need. That's pretty incredible guys; our God is good.
