Meet the boys!

I want to introduce you to three wonderful faces at Zion’s Gate! All three boys are starting back to school right now, and they would LOVE some sponsors to make sure they have all the supplies they need to succeed. Please read their stories, and if you feel that you can help, please consider it because as of right now, the family is paying for everything IN FAITH that one of God’s followers will step up and get involved in one of the boys’ lives!

Meet Anderson

Anderson is 7 years old, lives with us at the ministry, and is just now starting kindergarten. Although I only spent a couple weeks with him, I personally have a strong bond with little Anderson. He’s shy at first, but he has the absolute sweetest heart and best smile! He loves to ride his bike around the property and play with William, his friend from the neighborhood. And for those of you who have heard about Herman, Anderson is his little nephew. I’m so excited for this boy’s future! Not too long ago, he was shoeless, hungry, wandering around the dangerous area of Los Pinos all day long, but now he’s smiling, healthy, being educated, and living in a Christian community that LOVES him!

Anderson just needs $150 to buy school uniforms and school supplies for the upcoming year.

Meet Marcos

Marcos is 14 years old and just recently joined us at Zion’s Gate Ministries. He too is from Los Pinos, and now looks forward to a much brighter future! He is starting back to school in sixth grade at a private Christian bilingual school where he is being challenged to learn English and doing so well! He’s such a smart boy, has a great heart, and is growing really strong in his faith. He also loves hanging out with the other boys and riding his bike. I’m so glad that he has the chance to play and be a kid in a safe, loving environment. God has huge plans for him!

Currently, Marcos is looking for $230 to pay for his school uniform, school supplies, and his school registration fee. Monthly, he needs $100 for tuition, bus fare to and from school, and to pay for his extracurricular activities.

Meet William

William is a little boy with plenty of energy! He lives in the neighborhood, and while he doesn’t live at the ministry, he is ALWAYS visiting to ride his bike around the property or just hang out. He and Anderson are great friends. William is starting school as well, and will be attending the same school as Anderson. This kid just loves to be loved, and he is clearly drawn to the Christian community at Zion’s Gate. It’s so exciting to see him growing up surrounded by love and with the opportunity to attend school!

William would love for people to partner with him and provide $150 for uniforms and school supplies. Monthly, he just needs $25 to pay for transportation to and from school and for his extracurricular activities.

It means so much to these boys when they hear that someone far away, who they possibly haven’t even met, believes in them and wants to help them succeed.
